Easter season 2018 was a contemplative time for me. I was searching for any signs of hope that this messy world of ours would somehow make it through these tumultuous times and come out the other side even better than we were before. I rely heavily on my faith to get through all of my days. The idea for this painting just popped into my head on Palm Sunday and was screaming to be put on canvas before Easter Sunday, and it was.
